With less than a month to go now to the race day, I'm sure the nerves are starting to jangle for many of you and you are all keenly anticipating your Virgin London Marathon Magazine dropping through the letterbox.
At this stage, most of you should have done the bulk of the hard work and be getting in your last few long runs, before you start to think about easing off – or tapering your training. Remember, it's crucial to allow the body to recover from the training you've put in over the last few months, so start planning your tapering strategy now depending on how far you've got in your training to date.
